After graduating from Mount St. Mary’s University with a triple major in math, business and information systems and a minor in finance, Tayvon began working in the financial industry, joining Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2011. Tayvon is a Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist. Tayvon also is a National Social Security Advisor and is a member of the Forbes Council. He is pursuing his designation as a Certified Financial Planner, and he has authored four books on finance.

A former collegiate basketball player, Tayvon was drawn to finance with a natural interest in helping NBA players manage their money more effectively, as he saw many of them struggle financially after retiring. He serves as a financial guide for numerous individuals and families, helping clients to reduce debt, minimize taxes, generate income and plan for retirement. With a personal life mission to help improve the financial lives of 10,000 families, Tayvon is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in his community. He is passionate about teaching clients about investing and is an expert at making complicated subjects easy to understand. Tayvon advocates for clients.
