Robert Keiper has found many ways to use his love for great stories. He explains; “Just as we respond to and remember good stories, ideas can be presented in ways that capture our attention and pull us into the problem or opportunity while illuminating a potential solution. In a well-crafted presentation, the audience shares the adventure.” In 35 years as a presentation and writing skills instructor and coach, Robert helped his clients realize the power of story in workshops for Intel, Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, the Defense Intelligence Agency, Joint Chiefs of Staff and many others, and his “Writing for Action” workshop is delivered by trainers in several languages around the world.
As an actor, director and playwright, his credits include regional theater, dinner theater, a tour in Europe, two shows at the Public Theater in New York, and a show on Broadway. He also squeezed in lots of television work including several roles on the Kraft TV Playhouse, featured roles on America’s Most Wanted, Diagnoses Unknown, several appearances on West Wing and the role of Joaquin Phoenix’s father in the movie, “Ladder 49.” In his spare time, he narrated a series of successful audiobooks from his home in Virginia. Robert is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
